Atlassian's Team '21 is right around the corner, and we are here for it! This virtual conference replaces Atlassian's most popular and best-attended annual event, Summit. Last year, Atlassian had to quickly pivot from an in-person extravaganza to an online conference; as you may recall, this happened during the early days of the COVID pandemic. What resulted was a concise, informative virtual event, chock full of exciting product and company news. We're certain that this year's Team '21 will be no different.
We're excited to announce that Isos Technology is a proud sponsor of Team '21, which kicks off on April 28th. And without further ado, here are 5 reasons why we're pumped for this fun and informative conference:
1. We'll Hear Directly from Atlassian's Co-CEOs, Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar
Team '21 will kick off on April 28th with a live discussion between Mike Cannon-Brookes and the CEOs of Zoom and Slack (Eric Yuan and Stewart Butterfield, respectively). These three titans of technology will cover the changes that have occurred in how we work today, along with some important Atlassian product updates.
On Day 2 of the conference, we'll hear from Scott Farquhar (the peanut butter to Mike Cannon-Brookes' jelly). He'll join a few other industry-leading CEOs to discuss the future of IT and the blurring lines between IT and business. We're really looking forward to hearing directly from Mike and Scott what their predictions are for the future of teamwork, and where Atlassian is heading.
2. An Amazing Selection of Keynotes from a Variety of Speakers
In addition to the headline keynote sessions with Mike and Scott, this year's conference will feature a variety of other impressive keynote speakers including:
Malcolm Gladwell - Mr. Gladwell is the author of five New York Times bestsellers — The Tipping Point, Blink, Outliers, What the Dog Saw, and David and Goliath: Underdogs, Misfits and the Art of Battling Giants. He has been named one of the 100 most influential people by TIME magazine and one of the Foreign Policy’s Top Global Thinkers.
Katie Sowers - Ms. Sowers was the second woman to hold a full-time NFL coaching position and is the first openly gay coach in the NFL. Katie spent six seasons in the NFL and four as an offensive assistant with the 49ers, working primarily with the wide receivers. Katie started her NFL career with the Atlanta Falcons after spending five years as the athletic director of the City of Kansas City.
Jill Ellis - Ms. Ellis was named Head Coach of the U.S. Women’s National Team in 2014. Since then, she has won two Women's World Cups, in 2015 and 2019. The victory in 2019 shattered records, making her the first coach to win the Women's World Cup twice. The only other coach to have won two World Cup titles is Vittorio Pozzo, winning for Italy in 1934 and 1938.
