In the runup to Team ’21, Atlassian announced they had acquired ThinkTilt, the company that makes one of our favorite no-code/low-code form builders for Jira and Jira Service Management, ProForma. ProForma has been available through the Atlassian Marketplace for a while now, and it’s gained a lot of traction—it’s in use at more than 700 companies!
Atlassian’s Commitment to Enterprise Service Management
The acquisition of ThinkTilt is part of Atlassian’s ongoing commitment to Enterprise Service Management (ESM). ESM is essentially an extension of ITSM: as more organizations embrace digital transformation, ITSM teams are being recognized for their expertise in service delivery and are being called upon to support other service areas of the organization like human resources, marketing, legal, finance, and even facilities. ProForma makes it simple and straightforward for service organizations both within IT and outside of it to create forms within Jira and Jira Service Management that meet the needs of their unique workflows, and as a result, they are better able to serve their customers.
A Few of the Many Reasons We Love ProForma
Better, faster service management
Any team using Jira Service Management—and that's a lot more than just IT these days—can use ProForma’s advanced form validation capabilities to quickly collect and confirm all the information needed to direct a request to the right team and get it resolved quickly.
Powerhouse out-of-the-box form building
ProForma features more than 300 pre-built templates for common business workflows—and they’re not just for ITSM. Plus, there’s a no-code/low-code editor and support in 24 different languages so IT teams can help service departments across the world—and across a given organization—quickly get down to the business of serving customers.
Minimizes the use of custom fields in Jira Software
ProForma makes it easy to embed forms and checklists in Jira for collecting structured information, without the hassle of creating custom fields. We’re also fans of the way the information is displayed—ProForma makes it easy to understand at a glance.
ProForma, Now Part of the Atlassian Family!
ProForma is already well integrated with Jira and Jira Service Management, but Atlassian has expressed commitment to even tighter integration and to further building out its advanced forms and capabilities. We can’t wait to see how this already terrific tool continues to evolve now that it’s part of the Atlassian family.
