The Forrester WaveTM: Enterprise Service Management, Q4 2021 report was recently released, and not only has Atlassian been named a Leader—the foremost ranking—but they have also achieved the highest score in the strategy category. In the annual* report, Forrester identifies the 15 most significant Enterprise Service Management (ESM) providers and evaluates them against 22 criteria, so companies can make informed decisions about the right solution partner for their needs.
Atlassian received the highest possible score in 18 of the 22 categories they were evaluated in, with Forrester identifying three areas of particular strength: usability, ecosystem, and Atlassian-suite integrations. The report also notes the strength of Atlassian’s incident management capabilities.
Forrester recognized Atlassian with the highest score in the strategy category among the 15 providers it evaluated, citing its comprehensive digital pipeline that includes: Jira and Trello for planning, collaboration, task management, and product development; Bitbucket for collaborative source control and CI/CD; Confluence for knowledge management; and Jira Service Management for operations.
The report goes on to describe Atlassian as “a good fit for organizations looking for a comprehensively integrated service management platform for development, operations, and business teams.”
The Forrester announcement follows on the heels of Gartner’s September 2021 announcement, in which Atlassian was named as the year’s only visionary in its 2021 Magic Quadrant for IT Service Management Tools.
