Atlassian introduces Rovo, your new AI teammate
One of the hottest topics at Team ‘24 this year was Rovo, a new GenAI solution powered by Atlassian Intelligence and designed to help you turn information into action. With Rovo, you can search for information across both Atlassian and third-party tools, explore your company’s data, and automate time-consuming work and tasks.

Atlassian is named a leader in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for DevOps platforms
For the second year in a row, Atlassian has been named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for DevOps platforms, Gartner evaluated 11 different vendors based on their ability to execute and completeness of vision. It's a strong validation of Atlassian’s approach of one platform for all teams.

Atlassian introduces Assets Data Manager!
At Team ‘24, Atlassian introduced a slew of new capabilities in Assets. First and foremost, now that the acquisition of AirTrack is complete, they are incorporating it natively into Assets and renaming it Assets Data Manager. Data Manager comes with more than 30 built-in connectors which makes it easy to pull data from other tools into Assets.

Atlassian Loom is getting an AI assistant!
Atlassian research indicates that 72% of meetings are deemed ineffective by attendees, but with their recent acquisition of Rewatch, they’re set to change that. Rewatch will be integrated with Loom, Atlassian’s asynchronous video communication tool. Once work is complete, you’ll be able to deploy an AI-powered virtual assistant to record your meetings, take notes, identify action items, and send follow-ups.

Atlassian achieves FedRAMP “in process” designation
Atlassian is one step closer to achieving FedRAMP Moderate Authority to Operate (ATO) for its new Atlassian Government Cloud offering, which includes Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management. Full ATO is currently estimated for Q1 of 2025. This is big news for Federal agencies. In related news, Atlassian is now listed on the FedRAMP Marketplace.

Atlassian announces Jira Service Management packaging & pricing changes
Atlassian is changing the way some JSM features and functionality are packaged. Of note: advanced incident, problem, and change management capabilities are now available in Premium, Enterprise, and Premium plans. In addition, the company is changing to consumption-based pricing for Assets and Virtual Service Agents. The changes go into effect October 16, 2024.
