3 Ways Managed Services Engineers Can Help with Your Atlassian Tools

Managed Services

Untitled-jcHere at Isos Technology, I'm on a team of engineers who work hand-in-hand with our Managed Services department to get things done for our clients. Having our team as a resource for your Atlassian tools can be a huge advantage for your company for many reasons, but the following are three of my favorites...

Custom Scripting

Out of the box, Jira has a lot of fun and helpful features, but your company may need or want a lot more out of Jira. Luckily, we can help with that! We're able to do just about anything with scripts and provide some complex features that you may not be able to buy directly for your Jira instance. And the best part? We continue to upgrade and maintain these scripts, so as new business requirements come along, we make sure your most important tools can handle the changes.

Disaster Recovery

Bad things happen sometimes, and Jira is no exception to this rule. When your Jira instance goes down, we can hop into the infrastructure and be hands on, not only to ensure that we get you back up and running as quickly as possible, but also to make sure that we identify the problem and make sure it doesn't happen again.

Upgrades

As new versions of Atlassian apps come out, you'll want to ensure that you're caught up with the latest versions. But upgrading these apps can be a hassle. You'll have to handle version compatibility, schedule system health checks, organize downtime, and make certain that the system understands what version it's on. After upgrading, you need to check that all of these items were done properly. Clearly, there's a lot going on here, but our team does all of this for you so you don't have to stress over any part of this tricky process.

We do a lot here at Isos Technology, and the engineering team is no exception. There are many other ways we provide our clients with value, but these are the main things that we do as Managed Services engineers to make sure your tools stay healthy and provide you with the most usefulness we can possibly extract.
