What Doesn't Happen in Vegas...

Atlassian Summit

When the news first broke here at Isos that the in-person events for Atlassian Summit 2020 had been cancelled, we were pretty bummed out. If you were planning on traveling to Las Vegas to attend this amazing annual event, we're sure you had some pangs of disappointment, as well. But the more we thought about it, the more we realized that–while this news is certainly not what we had been hoping to hear–we could take these COVID-19 lemons and create some pretty decent lemonade. Here are three reasons why we're choosing to look on the bright side...

1.  Summit 2020 is still happening, the format is just a little different this year. Atlassian has amazed and impressed us with their quick response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and their decision to transform their flagship event into Atlassian Remote Summit 2020 was an excellent choice. You can still access much of the great content that was to be shared at the live event. We are tuning in this week for certain, and we hope you do, too. For more information, visit their Remote Summit 2020 webpage. It's not too late to register!

As a quick side note, we are giving away some super-cool stuff for our Atlassian Remote Summit 2020 contest, so be sure to enter today...

2.  We now have an opportunity to REALLY talk to attendees. Let's face it, the Summit Expo can be a whirlwind of activity. While we do our best to talk to each and every one of our booth visitors, it can sometimes be difficult to have in-depth conversations. Since this week has already been blocked for months on our calendars, we'd still love to talk to you if you're interested in learning more about our Atlassian services. Just visit this link and set up a meeting with us! We'd love to have some one-on-one time with you where we go into detail about whatever you'd like to discuss, whether it's training, a potential migration to Cloud or Data Center, our Managed Services offerings, or any of the other multiple Atlassian services we provide.

3.  Found time is a good time. You've probably heard the expression, "Time is precious...waste it wisely." Well, if the postponement of the live Summit has taught us anything, it's that we definitely have some extra time on our hands. A couple of weeks ago, our plans for the event came to a screeching halt and we found ourselves wandering aimlessly in the halls of our office. The question we kept asking ourselves is, "Well...what now?" But the more we thought about it, the more we realized that this extra time is a gift. We now have the opportunity to really focus on some new initiatives that we think will greatly benefit you and your team. We have some great content pieces we're working on that will address the "Why" of the Atlassian toolset and will outline how working with an Atlassian Solution Partner is the best way to go. We're also creating a long form piece that will focus on Atlassian Cloud migrations and will come in extremely handy for those organizations that are looking to make a move to Cloud.

So what are you going to do with your free time? Our advice is to "waste your time wisely" and make some delicious and sweet lemonade out of the lemons that the COVID-19 pandemic has given all of us. Good luck!
