Atlassian's annual conference, Team '21, is just around the corner, and I'm excited to attend my first Atlassian event! This year's conference is virtual, so I know I won't be getting the full in-person experience of years past, which I've heard is amazing. But, with the world not back to pre-pandemic gatherings yet, and having gotten used to online events over the last year, I'm going to embrace the format and take advantage of as much as I can digitally. Here's what I'm looking forward to most at Team '21...
So. Much. Content.
In addition to live Keynotes (Malcolm Gladwell! The founders of Atlassian, Slack, and Zoom!) and Power Sessions, there are over 100 on-demand sessions to choose from. If you can think of a tech topic, a work topic, or an Atlassian topic, they've got it. Luckily, as a perk of purchasing the All Access pass, I don't have to worry about squeezing all of those sessions into just a few days. I have the rest of 2021 to go back and watch the on-demand videos, so I can focus on the live broadcast during the actual conference.
Product and Best Practice Demos
There are always new features and benefits to learn about for each of Atlassian's products, and as somewhat of a newbie to the world of Atlassian, I can't wait for the demos. There are sessions lined up on cloud migration, enterprise solutions, Jira Align, and Jira Service Management (JSM), all of which are key areas of focus for Isos Technology as an Atlassian Platinum and Enterprise Solution Partner. The demos will help me gain a deeper understanding of each tool and its use case scenarios, and as mentioned above, I'm glad I'll be able to reference these videos throughout the year when I need to brush up on a specific product or best practice.
Isos Sponsorship Highlights
Last but certainly not least, of course I'm excited about Isos' participation at Team '21. This year we're sponsoring a fun giveaway item, doing an ITSM demo, and showing a quick breakout session video. Multiple Isos peeps attend the conference each year, and I know we'll all have a ton of insights and ideas to discuss afterward. Isos is also hosting an Atlassian Team '21 Recap Webinar on May 5, to share the top takeaways from the event. Whether or not you're planning on attending Team '21, our webinar will be a great opportunity to get all of the information from the conference digested and presented to you by our CEO, Thad West, and a panel of senior consultants and solution engineers on the Isos team.
I'm sure I'll have more to say about Team '21 after I attend, so for now, happy conference going, don't forget to wear your blue light blocking glasses for all that screen time, and look for a recap blog post from me after the event!
