What Is SOC 2 and Why It Matters
SOC 2 is a widely recognized compliance framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It evaluates whether an organization has designed and implemented controls that meet strict Trust Services Criteria, including security, availability, and confidentiality.
In practical terms, SOC 2 compliance demonstrates that we have put formal, auditable safeguards in place to protect systems and customer data, and that those controls are operating as intended at a specific point in time.
For our clients, this means greater confidence when partnering with Isos, particularly for organizations with enterprise, public sector, or regulated requirements.
Our Current Milestone and What Is Next
As part of the SOC 2 process, Isos has entered a three-month observation period, during which an independent auditor will evaluate the ongoing operating effectiveness of our controls as we work toward SOC 2 Type II certification.
