Unleash_Animation_AdobeExpress_AdobeExpress

From the keynote to the breakout sessions, Atlassian’s inaugural Agile and DevOps-focused event, Unleash, in Berlin on February 9th was everything we hoped for and more! In case you missed it, we have the scoop on three of the biggest announcements from the event.

(We also included links to the session recordings, so you can watch them on demand.)

1. The General Release of Jira Product Discovery is Coming Soon

The first big announcement from Unleash was the upcoming release of Jira Product Discovery, a dedicated space where product managers can capture, prioritize, and collaborate with their teams around new product ideas. By using it, teams can identify the products and features that add the most value and have the greatest impact on their customers.

With Jira Product Discovery, product managers can:

  • Capture ideas, insights, and feedback from anywhere
  • Prioritize the strongest and most impactful ideas
  • Engage with stakeholders across the company and share updates
  • Deliver on ideas faster through integration with Jira Software

Stay tuned for updates—we’ll let you know as soon as it’s available!

2. Jira Work Management is FREE with Jira Software Cloud until March 2024

With Jira Work Management, teams can collaborate, plan, and deliver work more effectively with better project management. It comes with a ton—and we mean a ton—of built-in templates for design, finance, legal, marketing, operations, and sales teams. All of those features, and now it’s free with every Jira Software Cloud license until March 2024.

With Jira Work Management, teams can:

  • Create lists and edit tasks with a single click
  • Create, view, and manage calendars
  • Understand timelines, map dependencies, and allocate resources
  • Track in-progress work on easily viewable boards

3. New Jira Workflow and Toolchain Templates Designed by Customers

Regardless of what Atlassian tool you’re working in—Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Work Management, or Jira Product Discovery—Atlassian provides a ton of great out-of-the-box templates to kickstart your projects and workflows. But now they’re offering customer-designed templates, to help you and your team take advantage of best practices and processes from industry leaders. And, you guessed it, they’re free!
